Currently the breakup front is located somewhere downstream of the Tatonduk River. An ice jam is reported between Dawson and the Fortymile River. Fluctuating water levels and heavy ice runs can be expected downstream when this jam releases. Residents along the Yukon River downstream of Dawson should expect ice runs to move through for the next 24 hours as the breakup front from Dawson moves downstream.
