The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a



* Tornado Warning for...

  Central Concordia Parish in northeastern Louisiana...

  Southwestern Catahoula Parish in northeastern Louisiana...

  Southwestern Adams County in southwestern Mississippi...



* Until 630 PM CDT.



* At 527 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado

  was located near Brouillette, or 10 miles northeast of Effie,

  moving east at 40 mph.



  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.



  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 

           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 

           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 

           damage is likely.
