A weather system will brush the area Tuesday and Tuesday night leading to strong winds, especially at high elevations along with showery precipitation into Wednesday. Quiet conditions are expected Thursday before another system brings heavy precipitation and windy conditions back to the area Friday into the weekend. && .IMPACTS...Stormy weather will create difficult backcountry skiing and mountaineering conditions across much of the alpine terrain of Mt. Rainier, including the Muir snowfield. Blizzard- like conditions with strong winds and near zero visibility are likely.
