High elevation mountain snow is also expected with low elevation rain. Conditions calm again late in the week into next weekend for warmer temperatures as well. && .IMPACTS...Stormy weather will create difficult backcountry skiing and mountaineering conditions across much of the alpine terrain of Mt. Rainier, including the Muir snowfield. Blizzard- like conditions with strong winds and near zero visibility are likely.
