.SYNOPSIS...A weak system will brush the region this morning. 

Active weather returns by Tuesday for more rain, high elevation 

snow and strong winds near Camp Muir and the summit. Drier 

weather will prevail late in the week and weekend.

.IMPACTS...Strong winds in alpine regions on the mountain, 

including the Muir snowfield, will make it difficult to move 

safely and could produce local whiteout conditions. A high level 

of skill and experience in alpine terrain, including use of GPS, 

is recommended for navigation and camping in these conditions.

.SUNDAY...Sunny. Freezing level near 2500 feet increasing to

5000 feet in the afternoon. 

.SUNDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy. Freezing level near 7000 feet. 

.MONDAY...Mostly sunny. Freezing level near 6500 feet. 

.MONDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy. A chance of rain and snow after

midnight. Snow level near 4000 feet. 

.TUESDAY...Rain and snow. Light snow accumulations. Snow level

near 5000 feet increasing to 6500 feet in the afternoon.
