.SYNOPSIS...Dry and relatively warm weather Friday before

transitioning to a cooler, showery pattern for much of the 

weekend. A more organized frontal system looks to bring more 

widespread rain later Sunday into Monday. Upper level ridging will

affect the area by midweek with active weather returning at the 

end of next week.

.IMPACTS...Strong winds near the summit Friday through Saturday

night will make it difficult to move safely and could produce 

local whiteout conditions. A high level of skill and experience in

alpine terrain, including use of GPS, is recommended for 

navigation and camping in these conditions.
