At 829 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located along a line extending from 14 nm east of Louisiana Offshore Oil Port to 18 nm southwest of Southwest Pass Of the Mississippi River, moving east at 20 knots.
