...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...



The areas affected include...

  Nearshore and Open Waters from Grand Haven to Whitehall MI...



At 943 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable

of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These

thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 18 nm west of

White Lake Pier Heads to 32 nm west of The White Lake Pierheads,

moving southeast at 25 knots.



Locations impacted include...

White Lake Pier Heads, Muskegon Light, and The White Lake Pierheads.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor

immediately until these storms pass.
