...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WATERS...



The areas affected include...

  Lake Huron from Harbor Beach to Port Sanilac 5NM Off Shore to 

  US/Canadian border...

  Lake Huron from Port Austin to Harbor Beach 5NM Off Shore to the 

  US/Canadian border...



At 623 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong 

thunderstorms, capable of producing winds up to 30 knots and small 

hail. The cluster was centered 14 nm northeast of Harbor Beach, 

moving southeast at 20 knots.



The strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds up to 30 knots, locally higher waves,

and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately

until this storm passes.
