   Lake Ontario from near Thirty Mile Point to near Sunset Beach and 

   from near Pultneyville to Fair Haven...





The thunderstorms have weakened and moved out of the warned area and 

no longer pose a significant threat to boaters.

...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM EDT...



For the following areas...  

  Lake Ontario from near Sunset Beach to near Pultneyville...



At 837 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 10 nm northeast of Hamlin Beach to near Sunset Beach,

moving southeast at 20 knots.



HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

         suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in 

         structural damage.



Locations impacted include...

Sunset Beach, Ontario Beach, Irondequoit Bay, Ontario On The Lake,

and Hamlin Beach.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.



Lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the

open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded

metal objects.
