Waters from Cape Charles Light to Virginia - North Carolina Border

from 20 to 40 nm...



At 514 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 nm north of Buoy

4a Drydocks, moving east at 30 knots.



HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots and large hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

         suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in 

         structural damage.



Locations impacted include...

Fish Hook and Hot Dog Area Off Virginia Beach.
