Currituck Sound...



At 237 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 6 nm northeast of Buoy 4a Drydocks to 8 nm east of

Knotts Island Bay to Currituck Sound, moving east at 15 knots.



HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

         suddenly higher waves.



Locations impacted include...

Currituck Beach Light, Buoy 4a Drydocks, Knotts Island Bay, and Deal

Island.
