.SYNOPSIS FOR WASHINGTON AND OREGON WATERS...High pressure will

persist across most of the area through early today, then weaken

this afternoon as a cold front approaches the waters. The cold 

front will move E across the waters tonight and Sat, then move 

inland Sat night. A weak low may form on the front Sat afternoon 

crossing the outer Washington waters. Another area of low 

pressure will move E into the waters Sun, while weakening, then 

move inland later Sun night into Mon. A strengthening pressure 

gradient will develop across the waters later Sun night through 

Mon night as strong high pressure builds to the W. A trough will 

move SE across the waters Tue and Tue night as the strong high 

pressure remains centered W and SW of the region. Astoria NAVTEX 

is reported down. Technicians are aware. We apologize for the
