Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average

height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be

more than twice the significant wave height.



.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from the Florida Keys to near

24.5N88W then stationary to just offshore of S Texas will stall

overnight and dissipate. Elsewhere, moderate to occasionally

fresh E to NE winds will prevail in the eastern Bay of Campeche

and offshore of the Yucatan Peninsula each night through Sat.

Otherwise, moderate or weaker winds and slight seas are expected

over the remainder of the basin through Sat. Looking ahead, the

next cold front is expected to enter the northern Gulf on Sun

morning, bringing increasing winds and building seas behind the

front. The front is expected to reach the southern Gulf along

23N by Mon morning and move south of the basin late Mon night.
