.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure centered about 60 nm SE of Charleston

will intensify NE across the area tonight into Tue, and will 

clear well E of the area by Tue night. A secondary low will 

develop near the Southeast coast later Tue, then drift N along 

the coast Tue night through Wed night. Then by Wed night into

Thu a broad, stronger low will approach the Mid-Atlantic coast 

just N of the area, while pushing a strong cold front through the

waters. The low will lift well N of the area Thu night into Fri,

with high pressure building E into the waters later Fri through 

Sat night. Hurricane Melissa is expected to pass well E of the 

waters Thu into Fri. Mariners should monitor forecasts from both 

OPC and NHC and consider avoidance plans as needed.
