.SYNOPSIS...A warm front over the S portion will drift N today.

Low pressure will develop along the front this morning off the NE

Florida coast, intensify NE across the area today and tonight,

then clear NE of the waters Tue. The departing low will leave

another stationary front across or just N of the region Wed into

Thu, with another low possibly developing off the Southeast

coast. Then by Thu and Thu night, a broad, stronger low will

approach the Mid-Atlantic coast just N of the area, while pushing

a strong cold front through the waters. The low will lift well N

of the area Fri, with high pressure building E into the waters

later Fri and Fri night. Hurricane Melissa is expected to pass

well E of the waters Thu into Fri. Mariners should monitor

forecasts from both OPC and NHC and consider avoidance plans as

needed.
