.SYNOPSIS...Intense low pressure will approach the island of

Newfoundland this morning, then pass E of the island tonight and

Tue. Several surface troughs will move S across the waters behind

the low today and tonight. High pressure will gradually build E

over the waters later today, move into the region tonight and

Tue, then pass E of the area Tue night. A cold front is expected

to approach the N mid- Atlantic coast Tue night and then stall

across the N central waters Wed with low pressure developing

along the front. The low pressure center will track E across the

waters later Wed and pass E of the area Wed night. A trailing

cold front will move S and SE across the waters Wed and Wed night

and stall over the S waters briefly on Thu. Low pressure will

develop over the S waters along the front Thu, then move NE of

the area Thu night while pushing the cold front SE of the area.

High pressure will build E over the area Thu night behind the

departing low. A stronger cold front will approach the area later

Thu night and move SE over the area Fri and Fri night.
