nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea

Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals



Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height

of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than

twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...

A front over the central waters this evening will move SE across 

the area through Tuesday. A weak surface high pressure will 

quickly move W to E over the state Wednesday as another front 

approaches the state from the NW Thursday into the weekend. A 

extra large NW swell will build seas into Tuesday.

kt, diminishing to 20 to 30 kt early in the morning. SE of front,

W winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 8 to 18 ft. Isolated thunderstorms N of

.TUESDAY...Front dissipating over far SE waters. N of 22N, W winds

15 to 30 kt. S of 17N, variable winds 10 kt or less. Elsewhere, N

winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 8 to 20 ft, highest N waters. Isolated 

thunderstorms E of 160W.

.TUESDAY NIGHT... N of 20N, NW winds 10 to 25 kt. S of 20N, NE

winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 9 to 20 ft, highest N waters.
