.SYNOPSIS FOR THE EASTERN GULF OF ALASKA...

Weak shortwave trough lifts up through the day Monday,

increasing winds briefly before a shift to northerlies late. A

storm force low lifts north from Haida Gwaii late Monday into

Tuesday. A stronger system moves into the region Wednesday,

persisting through Friday.
