.SYNOPSIS FOR THE EASTERN GULF OF ALASKA...

A weakening ridge of high pressure persists over the southern

panhandle as a front lingers over the northeastern gulf coast. A

more organized low moves up from the south and into the Gulf on

Friday, bringing widespread increased winds and waves through

the weekend.
