Visitors and people not typically accustomed to extreme heat are urged to take precautions during the hottest hours of the day and to limit outdoor activities. && .DISCUSSION...Main theme for this upcoming week will be the continuation of daily record high temperatures as the historic March heat wave hangs around. Afternoon heating will bring some gusty winds each day. Ensembles continue to hint at some moisture advecting in from the south on the western flank of an upper high centered over western TX. High temperatures will lower several degrees next week, but highs will still top out 15-20 degrees above normal.
