Northwesterly flow aloft weakens today and much warmer

conditions will push into Idaho. Highs today in the 60s

mountains and 70s valleys. It will become breezy with some 20 to

30 mph winds in the Snake River Plain with gusts 30 to 40 mph

and a Lake Wind Advisory is in effect for the American Falls

Reservoir after noon. ,It will remain breezy on Friday as well.

Eastern mountain showers this morning will continue to push 

east and expect dry conditions today. Will see a weak system 

cool things a bit Saturday but extremely warm conditions and low

elevation high temperatures in the 80s move in Sunday and 

continue through next Thursday so for the next week it is 

looking to be a very dry and very warm to hot period.

Most wind gusts have dropped off for the night. Considerable 

mid to high level clouds will pass through tonight into Thursday

morning. Expect clearing skies in the afternoon with wind gusts

of 20 to 30kts at many sites. SUN may turn upvalley or variable

for a brief time late morning or close to midday, but most 

models show a gusty west-northwest wind overtaking the upvalley 

for afternoon.
