WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW: Light showers are expected to continue

through the early to mid-morning hours across mainly Elko County.

Patchy fog is possible early this morning in valley areas that 

received recent rainfall. Dry this afternoon across the region. 



Heights will rise on Tuesday as high pressure builds over 

northern and central Nevada. It will continue to be dry with sunny

skies. Highs will be in the 50s and 60s with lows in the 20s and 

30s and light winds.



A pattern of general ridging will continue Wednesday through 

Friday. It will remain on the quiet side with above normal

temperatures in the 60s and lows in the 20s and 30s. Winds are

expected to be light. 



For next weekend, models continue to hint at more quiet weather

with highs in the 60s and lows in the 30s.



FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS: Confidence in chances for

precipitation remain high through tonight. High forecast 

confidence regarding a cooling trend through Monday. No 

deviations were made from the NBM model output.

.AVIATION...

A few light rain showers continue early this morning along and

North of the Interstate 80 corridor, with periods of MVFR

conditions possible for KWMC KBAM and KEKO through 14Z. As showers

taper off and skies scatter out early this morning there is a 15%

chance of BR or FG at KWMC KBAM and KEKO. Dry this afternoon and

overnight across the region and at all terminals.

.FIRE WEATHER...A storm system is exiting out of Northeastern Nevada

early this morning, with light valley rain and mountain snow showers

expected to end in Elko County by the mid-morning hours. Quiet and 

dry weather is expected through the upcoming week with highs in the 

40s and 50s today, warming into the 50s and 60s Tuesday through the 

rest of the week.
