DRIER THROUGH MONDAY:



Drier conditions and cooler, more seasonable temperatures 

remain in place through Monday as high pressure builds over the 

Great Basin. Enough moisture may still linger for some isolated 

showers and storms over the higher terrain, but those chances 

are very low. 



PRECIPITATION CHANCES RETURN TUESDAY ONWARD:



A low pressure system will move onto the Great Basin over the 

next 24-36 hours. This shift will result in moisture-rich 

southwesterly flow setting up over the Intermountain West. At 

the same time, high pressure sets up over Texas, drawing Gulf 

moisture into the Desert Southwest. As a result, wet weather 

returns to the forecast on Tuesday with storm coverage ebbing 

and flowing throughout the week. Multiple days of precipitation 

are likely, especially over the southern Mountains.

VFR conditions are forecast throughout the TAF period. 

Occasional wind gusts up to 18-22 knots are possible this 

afternoon. There is a 20% chance for low clouds to develop early

tomorrow morning at KHDN that could cause ILS breakpoints to be

reached, but confidence was too low to include in the TAF at 

this time.
