.SYNOPSIS...Dry and warm conditions with generally light winds will

continue through the week.

.DISCUSSION...High pressure will be the main story through the rest 

of the week with subtle differences in temperatures from day to day. 

In general, winds will be on the lighter side but a brief uptick 

will occur late Monday through Wednesday as a trough passes to 

the north of the region. Winds will turn to the northwest through 

northeast but the upper jet stays off to the north and we won't 

see the winds become too gusty. Areas downwind of the terrain will

likely see elevated winds overnight, which will keep overnight 

lows a bit warmer than typically expected. Overall, expect 

continued dry and generally warm conditions with light winds. 

Temperatures will be near normal through Wednesday before rising 

to above average through the rest of the week.

.AVIATION...Monday 27/18Z through Tuesday 28/18Z...VFR conditions. 

Winds are W to NW 5-15 kts through 06-07Z. After 07-08Z, winds 

becoming N to NE at 5-15 kts. Locally gusty along/downwind of 

terrain features overnight, including KSEZ.



OUTLOOK...Tuesday 28/18Z through Thursday 30/18Z...VFR conditions. 

Winds north to northeast at 10-15 kts on Tuesday, subsiding to 

5-10 kts on Wednesday. Locally gusty northeast winds at 15-25 kts 

downwind of the terrain Tuesday night, light and VRB on Wednesday 

night.

.FIRE WEATHER...Today and Tuesday...Dry with mild temperatures. 

Look for west to northwest winds at 5-15 mph today, shifting to 

northeasterly at 10-20 mph later tonight through Tuesday. Afternoon 

minimum RH 15-25% today, decreasing to 10-20% on Tuesday. 



Wednesday through Friday...Dry and mild. North to northeast winds at 

5-15 mph Wednesday, becoming light and variable Thursday, then west 

to northwest at 5-15 mph Friday. Afternoon minimum RH generally in 

the teens.
