(18Z TAFS) Issued at 1143 AM CST Fri Dec 12 2025 Areas of LIFR cigs and FG have finally begun to lift/erode across the region this morning, with VFR conditions beginning to return across portions of E TX and N LA. Still will have to contend with IFR cigs for another couple more hours though at the SW AR terminals ahead of a weak sfc front now moving through the Mid Red River Valley, as well as LFK before lifting enough to return to MVFR/VFR. Some MVFR cigs may linger through the afternoon and evening though across Deep E TX and NCntrl LA S of I-20, before eventually spreading back N to near or N of the I-20 corridor by/after daybreak Saturday. Some IFR/LIFR cigs and patchy FG may also develop overnight near and S of the weak sfc front as it stalls late along or just S of the I-20 corridor, affecting all but the TXK/ELD terminals. Away from this area into SW AR, MVFR cigs are expected to spread back NNE after daybreak, with little improvement to cigs/vsbys areawide through the end of the 18Z TAF period before slowly lifting during the afternoon. Light SSW winds early this afternoon will become Lt/Vrb after 20Z, persisting through the overnight hours tonight. /15/ && .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
