(This afternoon through Saturday night) Issued at 1018 AM CST Fri Dec 12 2025 Dry conditions will continue through the short term forecast period. The cold front that moved through earlier this morning has resulted in the latest 17Z obs to be about 10-15 degrees colder than at this time yesterday. Just like in typical fashion for the Panhandles, when you get a wind shift, you can get a new season as well. For tomorrow, as surface winds shift to southwesterly with very gradual height rises ahead of our next front by tomorrow night. As a result, high temperatures tomorrow will range from the upper 50s in the NE Panhandle to lower 70s for the SW Texas Panhandle. A more potent cold front will enter the Panhandles as early as late tomorrow afternoon and move through all of the Panhandles by tomorrow night. The initial H850-700 surge of stronger CAA will fall a bit behind the main cold front, but will arrive for the majority of the Panhandles. Lows tomorrow night will range from the mid teens in the NE Panhandles to lower and mid 20s elsewhere. && .LONG TERM...
