Issued at 230 AM CDT Sun Mar 22 2026 Today A cold front will move southeast through the area early this morning. In the wake of this front, there will be scattered rain showers. While the radar is showing quite a few showers, the soundings show quite a bit of dry air below 700 mb, so there is quite a bit of uncertainty on whether any of this rain is actually making it to the surface. As a result, went with rain showers and scattered sprinkles in the forecast. IFR/MVFR ceilings will move into the area this morning and then gradually dissipate this afternoon as high pressure gradually builds across area bringing with it subsidence and drier air. The high temperatures for the day occurred around midnight for areas south of Interstate 94. These areas will see high temperatures ranging from the mid-50s to near 70. Meanwhile, north of Interstate 94, the high temperatures will occur this afternoon and they will range from around 40 to the mid-40s. Monday High pressure will build across the region. High temperatures will be mainly in the 40s. Afternoon relative values will be fairly dry ranging from the mid-20s to mid-40s. Fortunately, the winds will be light and variable, this will greatly limit any fire weather concerns. Tuesday night and Wednesday morning A cold front will move southeast through the region. This front will provide a 20-30 percent chance of rain. Rainfall amounts will be up to 0.05 inches. Low temperatures on Tuesday night will range from around 30 to the lower 40s. High temperatures on Wednesday will range from the mid-40s to lower 60s. Wednesday night and Thursday Another cold front will move southeast through the area on Thursday. Like its predecessors earlier in the week, not much rain is expected from it (generally less than a tenth of an inch). High temperatures will range from the mid-40s to lower 60s. && .AVIATION /06Z TAFS THROUGH 06Z MONDAY/...
