Surface high pressure over the state this afternoon will generally 

remain in place through tomorrow before shifting south some on 

Tuesday as a frontal boundary moves south over the region. This will 

keep warming and dry conditions across the local area through the 

start of the work week before rain chances come back into the 

forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday with the front. Best chances are 

for northern and interior locations, though most places that do see 

rainfall will likely not even get a quarter of an inch. We dry out 

again for the end of the week as high pressure settles back in, then 

another boundary moves through this weekend, with another chance for 

showers on Sunday.

High pressure will remain over the region through Monday, with light 

winds and seas continuing over the waters. A frontal boundary will 

then move through on Tuesday, with winds turning northeast behind it 

for mid-week. No headlines are expected.

Relatively drier air remains over the region for the next couple

of days, with critically low relative humidity values expected for

parts of the interior each afternoon. Winds will remain light,

however, so no Red Flag conditions are anticipated. Some patchy

fog is expected for the next few mornings.
