- Light to gentle breezes expected through early this week.



- Mainly dry conditions along with near-normal temperatures will

  continue through the week.



- Despite recent rainfall this week, moderate drought conditions

  persist for the entire island chain. These conditions may worsen

  over the next several days.

High pressure has settled across the Florida Keys, allowing for

breezes this afternoon to slacken to light to gentle. This high

will remain in place through the next several days, maintaining

generally light to gentle northeast breezes. In addition,

expecting dry weather to prevail through the week. Looking just

beyond the end of this week, we're watching for another potential

pattern change.

VFR conditions will prevail through the rest of the afternoon and

into the overnight. Light to gentle northerly breezes will

gradually weaken and become light and variable through Monday

morning.

Another night of uneventful weather in the Florida Keys. KBYX has

remained shower-free overnight with Nighttime Microphysics 

revealing mostly clear skies. Temperatures along the island chain 

are near 70 with dewpoints in the lower 60s. Across the Reef, 

gentle northeasterly breezes are being observed. Similarly to 

yesterday, the 00z sounding measured very limited precipitable 

water in our profile. Therefore, another day of clear skies and 

near nil rain chances is expected. 



A weak subtropical ridge will continue to dominate the pattern 

across the Keys this week, maintaining northeasterly light to 

gentle breezes. Dry air associated with this will support stable 

and dry conditions, including near nil rain chances and mostly 

clear skies.
