- Mainly dry conditions along with near-normal temperatures will

  continue through the week.



- Despite recent rainfall this week, moderate drought conditions

  persist for the entire island chain. These conditions may worsen

  over the next several days.

Another night of uneventful weather in the Florida Keys. KBYX has

remained shower-free overnight with Nighttime Microphysics

revealing mostly clear skies. Temperatures along the island chain

are near 70 with dewpoints in the lower 60s. Across the Reef,

gentle northeasterly breezes are being observed. Similarly to

yesterday, the 00z sounding measured very limited precipitable

water in our profile. Therefore, another day of clear skies and

near nil rain chances is expected. 



A weak subtropical ridge will continue to dominate the pattern 

across the Keys this week, maintaining northeasterly light to 

gentle breezes. Dry air associated with this will support stable 

and dry conditions, including near nil rain chances and mostly 

clear skies.

No watches, warnings, or advisories are currently in effect for

the Florida Keys waters. From synopsis, high pressure centered 

over the northern Gulf coast will slowly slide eastward through 

the middle of next week. The high will support a stagnant pattern 

of generally light to gentle north to northeast breezes, gradually

veering to the northeast to east.

VFR conditions will prevail at both EYW and MTH through the TAF

period. Dry air will limit shower development and result in mostly

clear skies. Near surface winds will be northeasterly at 5 to 10
