Weak troughing over or just east of Hawaii may support a subtle

increase in moisture and windward/mountain-focused showers into

the weekend. After this, surface high pressure will build north of

the state, leading to moderate or breezy winds as a general

easterly to ENE trade wind flow and a stable weather pattern 

persists through the next week. The models and ensemble means are

generally in good overall agreement. No major rainfall events are

currently expected over the next 7 days as frontal boundaries and

surface lows remain far away from the Islands.
