Trough extending east from 27S 168E at 231800UTC, moving south. In a narrow band south of trough and west of 175E: Easterly 30kt to gale, heavy easterly swell developing by 231800UTC. Deep sub-tropical low expected near 35S 167E at 251200UTC, then moving south. Around low: Clockwise 40kt to storm, with heavy swell.
