Through 700 pm, scattered showers and a few embedded thunderstorms 

will move to the west to northwest at near 15 knots across the near 

through offshore Gulf waters near and north of Rebecca Shoal and the 

Dry Tortugas. The stronger of the activity will produce blinding 

downpours, wind gusts 20 to 25 knots, and a rare lightning strike.
