Through 430 pm, scattered showers and perhaps an isolated

thunderstorms will move to the west to northwest at near 15 knots 

through the offshore Gulf waters north and west of the Lower Keys, 

including the Dry Tortugas. The stronger of the activity will produce

heavy downpours reducing visibility, wind gusts 20 to 25 knots, and a

rare lightning strike.
