Through 1200 pm, scattered showers and a rare, brief isolated 

thunderstorm will move to the west to northwest at near 15 knots 

through the offshore marine zones west of the Lower Keys, including 

the western Straits of Florida and the southeastern Gulf and the Dry 

Tortugas. The stronger of the activity will produce heavy downpours 

reducing visibility, wind gusts near 25 knots, and a few lightning 

strikes.
