Through 1000 am, scattered showers and a rare, brief isolated thunderstorm will move to the west to northwest at near 15 knots through portions of the Lower and Middle Keys and the adjacent nearshore and offshore coastal waters, including the Dry Tortugas. The stronger of the activity will produce heavy downpours reducing visibility, wind gusts near 25 knots, and a few lightning strikes. Some island communities of the Lower and Middle Keys can expect up to a few hundredths of an inch of additional rainfall. $$
