Through 1 am, scattered showers with isolated embedded thunderstorms

will move west to northwest at 15 to 20 knots through the near and

offshore waters surrounding the Keys. The stronger of the activity

will produce blinding downpours, wind gusts of near 25 knots, and

occasional lightning strikes. Island communities can expect half an

inch to an inch of additional rainfall.
