Through 1000 am, isolated showers will move eastward at 5 knots 

along a broken line from Florida Bay to the Straits, south of the 

Lower Keys, including portions of the Upper Keys. Stronger activity 

will bring moderate to heavy downpours, reducing visibility, wind 

gusts up to 25 knots, and occasional lightning strikes. Island 

communities in the Upper Keys may receive a quick quarter-inch of 

rainfall accumulation.
