Through 900 am, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will

drift to the east along a broken line from Florida Bay to the 

distant Straits south of the Lower Keys, including portions of the 

Middle Keys. The stronger activity will produce moderate to heavy 

downpours reducing visibility, wind gusts up to 25 knots, and an 

occasional lightning strike. Island communities in the Middle Keys 

may receive a quick quarter inch of rainfall accumulation.
