SITUATION







A high pressure system to the far southeast of Tonga continues to cir

culate a

strong to damaging gale force east to southeasterly winds across Tong

a this

evening and tomorrow. Meanwhile, an active trough is approaching the 

Niuas from

the north by tomorrow. Associated clouds with heavy rain and thunders

torms may

affect the Niuas this weekend.
