A STRONG WIND WARNING REMAIN IN FORCE FOR ALL OF TONGA LAND AREAS.









SITUATION







A weak trough is approaching from the northwest of Ha'apai, Tongatapu

 and 'Eua,

bringing cloudy periods with brief showers for these areas today. Mea

nwhile, a

ridge of high-pressure system located far to the southwest extending 

over the

group, directing cool, moderate to strong south to southeasterly wind

s across

Tonga for the remainder of the week.

Moderate to fresh south to southeasterly winds, strong at times

Cloudy periods with possible isolated showers over Tongatapu, 'Eua an

d Ha'apai.

Cooler overnight air temperatures especially for Tongatapu and 'Eua.
