A STRONG WIND WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR SOUTHERN COOK WATERS. 



Situation:

A weak trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers

continues to affect Southern Cooks.



A weak trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers

affects the western parts of Northern Cooks.



Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Southern Cooks:

Cloudy periods with some showers and possible thunderstorms.

Over Land: Moderate to fresh north to northwesterly winds.  

Over Waters: North to northwesterly winds 20 to 25 knots. 

Rough seas. 

Further outlook:    Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated

thunderstorms. Strong winds continuing. 



For Rarotonga:

Cloudy periods with some showers and possible thunderstorms.

Over Land: Moderate to fresh north to northwesterly winds.  

Over Waters: North to northwesterly winds 20 to 25 knots. 

Rough seas.  

Further outlook:    Cloudy periods with brief showers. Strong winds

continuing. 



For the Northern Cooks:

Cloudy periods with some showers and possible thunderstorms over

Pukapuka and Suwarrow. Fine apart from brief showers elsewhere.
