Situation:
The Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone [ITCZ] lies over Northern Line
Island and extends westward near Western Kiribati. Meanwhile, an
easterly wind flow prevails over the group.

Forecast to midnight tomorrow for Kiribati
Moderate to fresh easterly winds.
Moderate seas.

Western Kiribati: Fine apart from brief showers. Showers increasing
to cloudy periods with some showers and isolated thunderstorms from
later tonight. 
Northern Line Islands: Occasional showers, heavy at times and few
thunderstorms about and north of Fanning islands. Elsewhere, cloudy
periods with brief showers.
Phoenix Islands: Fine apart from brief showers. 
Southern Line Islands: Fine apart from brief showers. 
Further outlook:    Western Kiribati: Cloudy periods with some
showers and isolated thunderstorms.
