Gusty northwest winds will be in place this evening from the surface to 4000 feet AGL. After midnight, wind speeds at the surface will begin to slowly weaken. Winds 3000-4000 feet AGL will remain elevated (20-25kts) and shift to the north. North to northwest winds will be in place Thursday morning although at significantly lighter speeds. Winds shift to the southwest in the afternoon. Another cold front will press through on Friday delivering another bout of gusty northwest winds in the afternoon and evening. Conditions will remain dry through the period. Thick high clouds this evening will thin out but as upper-level winds shift to the north overnight, scattered clouds around 6000 feet AGL will pass over the area.
