.DISCUSSION...



Independence Day is going to be cooler than normal for the area with 

a high temperature near 80 degrees.  In addition, a weather system

passing through will deliver mostly cloudy skies and an increasing chance

for rain showers in the afternoon (60 percent). There will also be a 20

percent chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.  Any storms

that develop will contain moderate rain and gusty winds.  Outflow gusts

from showers and thunderstorms could reach 30 MPH in the afternoon. The

chance for rain showers drops to 30 percent Friday evening into the

overnight hours.

                    the morning, then rain showers likely in the

                    afternoon. A 20 percent chance of thunderstorms

                    in the afternoon.
