.DISCUSSION...



Friday will begin quiet with a light breeze. Shower chances 

will begin to increase from the south in the late morning. There 

is some uncertainty in timing and if showers will make it as far 

north as Pullman, with a 40% between 1200 and 1800 PDT. With 

any showers, there will be a 15% chance for isolated strikes of 

lightning, but confidence is low. Winds will increase through the 

morning, becoming breezy from the west- southwest in the 

afternoon. Winds look to shift to the south then to the east- 

southeast with the onset of precipitation, remaining breezy 

through the early evening.

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy. Chance of showers and slight 

                    chance (15%) of thunderstorms in the late morning

                    and afternoon.

Chance of pcpn......0900-1200 PDT: 15 percent chance.

                    1200-1800 PDT: 40 percent chance.

Surface winds (mph).West winds 5 to 10 mph in the morning increasing
