.DISCUSSION...Warm and dry conditions prevail through the 

weekend. Surface SE winds this afternoon will be 10 to 15 mph with

gusts to 27 mph. Surface winds increase to 12 to 20 mph after 

midnight tonight with gusts to 30 mph, then increasing to 20 to 

27 mph after 5 AM Saturday morning, with gusts up to 40 mph 

possible. This stronger wind will continue through the early 

afternoon, bringing near critical fire weather conditions. Winds 

speeds will likely be above critical thresholds Saturday morning, 

although RH values will still be above critical thresholds. As RH 

values lower to below 15 percent by the late morning hours Saturday,

wind speeds will be diminishing.
