Scattered showers and thunderstorms are on tap today, with strong winds

from area storms and locally heavy rainfall with rapid runoff along

washes as main impacts.  Storm activity will be down tomorrow but wouldn't

rule out mid day to early afternoon convection over the Pinalenos.

Sky/weather.........Partly sunny. Chance of showers and 

                    thunderstorms early in the afternoon, then 

                    showers and thunderstorms likely late in the 

                    afternoon. 

Chance of pcpn......40 percent increasing to 60 percent late in the 

                    afternoon. 

Max temperature.....91-94 degrees. 

Min humidity........26-29 percent. 

20-foot winds.......Southeast winds 6 to 11 mph with gusts to 

                    around 22 mph shifting to the south 5 to 10 mph 

                    early in the afternoon, then shifting to the 

                    west with gusts to around 19 mph late in the 

                    afternoon. Gusty and erratic winds expected 

                    near thunderstorms. 

Mixing height.......9000 ft AGL decreasing to 4900 ft AGL late in 

                    the afternoon. 

Transport winds.....Southeast around 10 knots shifting to the northwest 

                    around 8 knots late in the afternoon.

                    evening, then slight chance of showers and 

                    thunderstorms overnight.
