If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION...A cool season system will continue to track through the region through midday Monday. Periods of snow showers will continue through the morning, becoming more scattered by early afternoon, and largely cease by around 1500 LDT. Remaining totals are forecast at roughly 0.15" to 0.25" of liquid water, equating to around 2.0" to 3.0" snow. Given passage of a cold front, winds will favor a west to northwesterly direction Monday, with some occasional gusts to around 25-30 mph or so. Despite the enhanced winds, limited mixing heights will limit clearing. Skies will further clear moving into Monday evening, with winds relaxing overnight and becoming more terrain driven (down-terrain). Winds will pick back up slightly on Tuesday, though magnitudes will be less than that of Monday. Mixing depth will decrease further, leading to poor clearing. High pressure will yield dry conditions with a gradual warmup thereafter through the week, but limited mixing depth will continue to result in poor clearing. .REST OF TODAY...
